My Passion for Health Coaching

Life is so much more than talking about weight loss and food sensitivities. In fact, if you find yourself talking about this to people, there is a 99% chance that they don’t care!

The last thing people want to know about is what you eat and why. First, because it’s annoying and second, there is no one diet that fits all.

There has never been one and there never will be.

I also believe that when we get so hung up on a diet, it becomes all-consuming.

That is the opposite of what I teach my clients.


What I really care about is your heart and mind.

I care about what really matters.

What is it that makes you tick? How is your daily life going? How has your journey been so far? What are your dreams? What do you really love?

What I care about is your well-being.

Everyone’s body and mind are unique. That is what makes us all special. So, what environment and types of food each one of us needs is also unique. 


What I show you through coaching is that when we take care of ourselves, it opens the door and frees up your energy for what really matters to you in life.

When you are in the space of suffering around food, you are usually obsessed and not in the place of optimal physical or emotional health. What I like to teach is, how to guide your body back to its natural state of health. This may be that you avoid foods that make you feel sick. You will for sure change your habits. 


That is just the beginning.


What we do first is clean up your thinking. We dive right into emotional fitness. We understand you as a whole person.

(Not which stupid diet you will go on! Let’s see – gluten free, Paleo, Keto- I’m out of the loop, what are the fad diets lately????) 


I will teach you how to stop following the diets. 


The complete freedom you have when food is a non-issue is fantastic! Just imagine how much time and energy you, or someone you know, puts into food? If that was gone what would you do with your life?


My goal is that you would find something to put your energy into that is fulfilling! 


I will share with you what I did.

I started to be a mom.

I began to be a wife.

I am not perfect and far from it, but when I stopped the being obsessed with myself, I was able to start loving my family. I was present for the good and the bad.

I felt like I woke up.

What really matters to my heart and soul is my faith and my family. When I think of the years that I spent disconnected and focused on myself, it makes me cry. All I really want is my faith, and to love my family. 


But I feel like that was the last thing I thought of.

It was so much about my suffering, mental health, food, doctors, and being disconnected!


I finally decided that I would love myself and my family and not give a flying hoot about being a size 6 and food allergies. But, the crazy thing is that by taking care of my mind and my thinking is exactly how I have stayed a size 6. 

I don’t eat what makes me sick.

And so, I deal with the real part of life, the good and the bad. I think a lot healthier thoughts, and I think a whole lot better when my focus is on what is most important.

The food freedom and my natural weight are just side benefits.
