Survival Guide

Many times, we cannot control what we are dealt, but what we can control is how we handle it. Your brain will want to go to your old familiar patterns. This usually involves soothing yourself in a way you used to do.

It will be easy to use this as a reason to deviate from your new plan, and then beat yourself up. Remember that is no longer an option, you will need to create another way to handle life’s upsets when the universe throws usual typical bumps your way. When you develop the capacity to handle the tougher things in life it strengthens your mindset to be able to handle anything without turning to food or old habits.
